Since I was a young child, I always knew I wanted to be an attorney. It has always been a dream of mine to help people with their problems and to defend those who needed it. I was the first person in my family to attend and graduate from college and law school and I was able to accomplish my dream. Now, I take pride and joy in helping others achieve their dreams.

A Note From Attorney Charles Smith |
I truly believe that the practice of law is a calling and not just a profession. I believe that honesty, integrity and communication are paramount in the attorney-client relationship and my career and reputation have been established and built upon those notions. I take pride in my work and I am truly honored and appreciative of the trust that clients have in me to assist them in their times of need. You can be assured when I say that the gravity of your situation is not lost on me in any way. I understand and appreciate that generally speaking, most people contact an attorney when things are not necessarily perfect and instead have encountered some kind of problem or difficulty.
My pledge to you is simple and one that I have followed my entire career:
1. I will communicate with you. This means more than answering the phone. It means that I will listen to you, I will hear your concerns, I will answer all of your questions to the best of my ability. I will explain everything to you in a way that you can understand and relate to.
2. I will always treat you with respect, honesty and integrity. As I previously stated, I believe honesty and integrity are paramount. As such, I will always tell you the truth. Sometimes, this means telling you things you may not want to hear.
3. I will fight for you. I will zealously fight for you in your case. I pride myself in my ability to think outside of the box and have accomplished many of my professional successes directly from my unwavering commitment and determination to fight for my clients. This does not mean, however, that I will be 100% successful. Anyone who guarantees success in the legal field is not practicing my second pledge (i.e. honesty).
4. I will work with you. After all, it is your case and your life. As such, I will include you in your case. I will educate you on all of the options that are available to you and provide you with the knowledge necessary to make informed decisions about your case when they arise.
Over the course of my career I have assisted individuals from all walks of life from all over the globe. My life has been enriched by the individuals I have met during my career and through this, I have grown into the person I am today. I am forever humbled and thankful for this.
If you are someone out there in need and looking for help, I would be honored to speak with you to discover if I could assist you in any way possible.
Very Truly Yours,
Charles A. Smith, Esq.
